Mr. Ali Naser Najm, a 57-year-old gentleman from Iraq, came to India with a long-standing hip problem that had severely affected his mobility and quality of life. He had a history of hip injury from a road accident years ago and had already undergone four surgeries in the past. Despite that, he continued to suffer from pain, hip instability, and difficulty in walking due to post-traumatic fused hip, shortening, external rotation, and deformity in his left lower limb.
At Marengo Asia Hospitals, under the care of Dr. Hemant Sharma (Orthopaedics & Joint Surgery), he underwent a Left Distal Femur Correction Osteotomy with Rail Road Fixation, ITB Release, Arthrodesis of Great Toe, and FDL Tenotomy of toes. The surgery was complex but successful.
Post-surgery, Mr. Ali responded well to treatment and physiotherapy. His condition improved steadily, and he was discharged in stable condition with home physiotherapy and exercise advice.
Today, he is able to stand and walk with much better alignment and stability. His pain has reduced significantly, and he is regaining mobility and confidence in daily life.
Before and After: The transformation is clearly visible in his progress pictures, showcasing how advanced orthopaedic care in India can help patients get a new lease on life.
At Albadrcure Healthcare, we are proud to have coordinated his treatment journey and supported him throughout his recovery.
